In short: we use your name, number, email and home preferences to help with the enquiry you made. We share them with the developer or partner involved, never sell them, and you can ask us to stop, correct or delete them at any time.
Who we are
Skyros Estates Private Limited (“Skyros”, “we”, “us”) is a real-estate advisory based in Bengaluru. We help people buy, sell and rent homes, and we act for buyers on new projects from RERA-registered developers.
For the personal data you share with us through this website, we are the “Data Fiduciary” under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). That means we decide why and how your data is used, and we are responsible for it.

What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we collect through this website, our enquiry and callback forms, brochure downloads, the login and saved-homes features, and the conversations that follow (calls, WhatsApp, SMS and email). It does not cover other websites we link to, such as developer sites, the Karnataka RERA portal or banks. Those have their own policies.
Information we collect
What you give us
- Contact details: your name, mobile number (and country code), and email address.
- Property preferences: what you want to buy, sell or rent, budget, preferred areas, home type, size, timeline, and any project you ask about.
- Property details if you are selling or renting out: the address, size, price expectation, photos and similar details you choose to share.
- Messages: anything you write in a form, chat or email, and notes from our calls with you.
- Login details: if you sign in, the phone number or email used for the one-time password, or the basic profile (name, email) Google shares with us if you choose Google sign-in.
Please do not send us identity documents, bank details or other sensitive papers through website forms. If a transaction needs documents, your advisor will tell you what is needed and how to share it safely.
What we collect automatically
- Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and the link or ad that brought you here.
- Cookies and similar technologies, explained in the cookies section below.
What we get from others
Sometimes we receive your details from a developer, a channel partner, or a property portal or ad platform where you asked to be contacted about a home. We use that data only for the enquiry you made.
How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- respond to your enquiry and call you back;
- suggest homes that match your budget, area and timeline;
- arrange site visits, share brochures, floor plans and price sheets;
- help with paperwork checks, home-loan introductions and after-booking follow-ups you ask for;
- list and market your property if you ask us to sell or rent it out;
- run your account and saved homes if you sign in;
- send updates about projects or offers you showed interest in (you can opt out any time);
- understand how the website is used and fix problems; and
- meet legal duties, prevent fraud and handle disputes.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your consent
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, request a callback, download a brochure or sign in. Each form tells you what it is for. Your consent is limited to the purposes described in this policy.
We may also process data without consent where the DPDP Act allows it as a “legitimate use”, for example where you voluntarily share data for a specific purpose and have not said you object, or where the law requires it.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to sales@skyrosestates.com or telling your advisor. After that we will stop using your data for those purposes and ask anyone we shared it with to stop too, unless the law requires us to keep it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before it.
Calls, WhatsApp, SMS and email
When you submit a form or request a callback, you agree that Skyros and its advisors may contact you about your enquiry by phone call, WhatsApp, SMS and email, even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call (DND) registry. This consent covers your enquiry and related homes only.
To stop marketing messages, reply STOP on WhatsApp or SMS, use the unsubscribe link in our emails, or ask your advisor. We may still contact you about an active transaction.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your enquiry or transaction is active and for a reasonable time after, so we can help with follow-ups, handle disputes and meet tax, accounting and legal record-keeping rules. If you have not been in touch with us for a long time, or you withdraw consent, we delete or anonymise your data unless the law requires us to keep it. Under the DPDP Rules, 2025, we will give you advance notice before erasing data for inactivity where those rules require it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for staff who need it, and service providers with their own security controls. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise your data will never be exposed.
If a personal data breach happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the DPDP Act requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access: ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correction and updating: ask us to correct, complete or update data that is wrong or out of date.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data once it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as explained above.
- Grievance redressal: complain to our Grievance Officer and get a response.
- Nominate: name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or cannot act yourself.
To use any of these rights, email sales@skyrosestates.com from the email or mention the phone number you used with us, so we can confirm it’s you. We may ask for more details to verify your identity.
The Act also asks you not to give false information, not to file frivolous complaints, and not to pretend to be someone else when you share data.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Data stored outside India
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we transfer data only as allowed under the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Government of India notifies. If you are an NRI or live abroad, your data is still handled under this policy and Indian law.

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it as quickly as we can, and in any case within the time allowed under the DPDP Rules, 2025 (currently no more than 90 days).
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once you have used our grievance process.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the law or our services change. The “Effective from” date at the top will change when we do. If a change affects how we use data you have already shared, we will tell you and, where needed, ask for your consent again. See also our Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer.
